FINAL WARNING!!!!!!!!

Attention all woogies! It has came to my attention that there is a problem in Woogi World that is going out of control! Too many woogies are asking for personal information. I think that they shouldn't be able to use the chat. Here are some of the questions they might ask you.

What is your real name?
Where do you live?
What is your phone number?
What school do you go to?
These questions are he most commonly used in Woogi World and it should end now! If you are saying these thing you must stop right away. Here in Woogi World we are teaching internet safety. And your not helping very much. This is your final warning to stop this nonsense right away or you will be bannedfrom Woogi World forever. Thank you for you time and attention
Your friend,
Big_pig

Big Wig's Secret Message...

A secret message left by Big Wig? With the help of several people and hours of searching, Woogi Fans was able to locate the top-secret message recorded by Big Wig himself to alert earth children that Woogi World, a civilization once thriving, is now falling to the internet. This video contains most everything you need to know from the source himself, along with help from popular Woogies such as Dr. Wiggenstien, my friend Weegor, Mr. Wigwatts, and the never before seen Will, who from what I gather is the nephew of the Big Wig himself. You can watch the video online here...

Woogi World Picture Time!

Woogi Fans Takes Pictures!

People seemed to be crowding Woogi World today, so I thought it might be fun to take some picutes with this awesome program I recently got. I took a whole bunch and most of you guys seemed to have a fun time posing for the camera, so I think I'll take more in the future. Who knows, maybe it'll become a weekly thing!

I get asked questions from april_gurl.

She wanted a picture taken...so I toke one.
(Why did she pick the warp thingy?)

Tractor is too cool for the Woogi Shop.

He put a picture of me on his blog, so here you go...

Bigman is all ready for Halloween!
(More pictures coming soon...)

Random News Update: Woogi Fans just got 100 views since I put up the counter, you guys rock!

A Reminder About Information...

You are not allowed to use the real life information of any other Woogi World user (or yourself, for that matter) at any time. This includes names, emails, addresses, relatives, and generally anything else that is not safe to share on the internet. Over the short history of Woogi World, many users have been warned, reported, and even banned because of this. I don't expect it to happen to any Woogi Fans reader.

One particular case I wanted to mention was the one of a user named "Cute". This user was really one of the nicest players I knew, and had so many friends in-game that she couldn't even have time to talk to all of us. She was nice, helpful, and all-in-all a good woogi. That is, until she started saying stuff about people and their families.

I did some research on the subject and turns out that she was pretending to Big Wig's daughter in order to get special attention. This ended in me contacting Mr. Dow himself (he has a name, you know) and telling him about the situation. He confirmed that he did not have a daughter that actively plays Woogi World, and Cute was banned permanently.

It's not like she was a bad player, but she did some bad things that caught up to her in the long run. I hope this serves as a lesson to all of you...

I'm too busy to write much right now, so you'll have to wait until a bit later in the day...sorry.

Google/Writers Needed!

Hey guys!

Today is a great day for Woogi Fans, seeing as we are now on Google! We're right under patcheye's blog when you search for "Woogi World" so go check it out! I'm going to be making some minor changes to the site in the near future so that we stay up there. Already I've noticed a lot of people logging on (I placed a counter at the bottom of the page) and I hope they're staying to read our great stories, like this and this. The only disappointing thing about it is that they don't seem to be leaving comments, something we need to keep learning what the fans want from us.

I took a long break to work on my Woogi World novel today and I realized that we need more writers. This is supposed to be the ultimate fansite, yet all of our readers are off working on there own blogs. I'd really like a place where all the "elite" players of Woogi World come together to post and to comment about events and news related to Woogi World, and one writer just isn't enough for what I have in mind.

So I have decided to hire people. Anyone who has good grammar and would be interested in joining the team, please contact me. In the meantime, I'll do my best to keep all our current readers up-to-date on Woogi World.

Woogi World: The Novel (CHAPTER ONE)

I've been visiting a lot of Woogi World blogs recently, and I feel like I want mine to stand out. Other than the fact that it's currently one of the only places where the average Woogi World player can have a say on what goes on in Woogi World and read about the newest Woogi World news, I feel we need something more to get people coming back.

So without further ado, I give to you my personal writings on what happened 200 years before Woogi World:

Chapter One

William Woogler walked to school in silence, trying to imagine he had a normal life. Just a normal day at school, for a normal woogi, with a normal woogi life, he thought to himself. The truth of the matter was that today was not a normal day, he was not a normal woogi, and the last time he checked, he did not have a normal life.

You see, William was the son of the Big Wig. Now I realize that you may be thinking that being the son of such royalty would entitle you to a lifetime of sitting in a mansion playing video games and drinking soda all day, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

According to the Woogish Book of Tradition: Chapter 942, Section 5, Paragraph 2; “The son of a Big Wig is required to be treated exactly like a normal woogi in every way until he reaches Seconschool.” Secondschool, as I’m sure you all know, is the form of woogi education that starts when a woogi turns 15.

William had heard this a million times before. Before today it all seemed unreal, like a dream of some sort. He never thought that he’d actually have to go to Secondschool, or become a Big Wig. In his mind he was still a kid, but there he was, standing in front of the Secondschool building. For the first time in his life, he felt special.

William, like any woogi in their right mind, was nervous. Firstschool was so easy, but now it was over. Gone were the simple times. This was serious.

He began to walk up the large flight of stairs that led to the big, brass door. Feeling the sudden urge to pass time, he began counting the stairs underneath his feet. 5...6...7. Getting closer now. 8...9...10. Almost there. 11...12...

A loud shout almost made him fall down completely.

“Look who it is, the son of the Big Wig! Where’s your daddy?” William turned around, and met face to face with Weegor. Weegor was, for lack of a better term, a jerk. Ever since Firstschool, he took it upon himself to ruin everyone’s life that he found. Even the teachers passed him from class to class, once they couldn’t handle his taunts anymore.

It’s probably a good time to take a break in the action to explain a little something about Weegor. He’s the head of the school football team, The Wogwards, and is generally considered by the girls at the school to be the best looking guy they’ve ever seen. In fact, the majority of the people that know him have come to an agreement that if he didn’t have his looks to fall back on, nobody would like him, and in turn, he couldn’t get away with half the things he did now.

Alright, now back to William’s story. It was about now that he realized that there were two other woogies standing behind Weegor. William didn’t have much time to think, but if he did he’d probably come to the conclusion that the two woogies shared the same common goal as Weegor: to kill William Woogler.

William jumped...

He originally intended to go over the heads of the three woogies, who were notably bigger than he was. This planned failed immediatly when he was caught and thrown to the ground.

The last thing he saw before he hit the concrete was Weegor, laughing.

TO BE CONTINUED...

Remember, this is all based on what you guys want. If you want more, you'll get more.

Additional editing by Nick, thanks a lot!

HUGE Exclusice Announcement from Weegor!

Weegor recently gave his thoughts on my latest blog post. Here's what he had to say:

"Good work Tydus. Thanks for keeping on top of the rules. Here's a bit of Woogi trivia:

We use the term "W.A.D." to talk about the different points of interest in Woogi World. It stands for "Woogi Adventure Destination."

The normal 9 screen WAD that everyone is pushed to now is just the 1st of many that will come. In fact, that's the purpose of the main world map is to allow Woogies to spread out a bit so there are fewer on a screen and less congestion.

In time, each new school district will have its own WAD. In the really long-term, each WAD will have its own number of screens and building types so it will be like visiting a diff city when you move between WADs.

So, when all that comes to pass, we'll need lots of people like you helping to keep all the Woogies safe and on-track."

Seperate servers for different school districts? The ability to "visit" other cities? This is huge news for Woogi World, and you heard from Weegor himself, right here on Woogi Fans! No doubt Woogi World thought of the over-population problem before I did (Thanks for making me feel stupid.) and plan to take care of it completely. However, the Woogi World staff has a lot to work on right now (news on that in future posts) so the WAD system may not be done completely by the nationwide launch. That means that we still need to be on our toes.

Thanks to Weegor for this exclusive announcement! If you're part of Woogi World staff and have something you want the fans to know, please contact me.

A Nation of Woogies

I apologize if I seemed a little mad in the last post. Spamming is something that is really annoying to me, and I think other users as well. Since I made the post I've already had to report another user. It's a shame, too, because he wasn't someone who I wanted to see banned, just someone who was spamming the chat and found me in an angry mood. I almost feel bad for him now...

Well, today is the start of the second day of our coverage of Woogi World! If you haven't already, please go check out Woogi World and sign up. It's a great site and a great game, and will only get better as the months roll on. We even had the leader of the website, Big Wig, view the blog yesterday and make some comments. He said he liked my post about spamming. I really hope that he addressed spamming in the future, but otherwise he's doing a GREAT job.

As some of you may know, the nationwide launch of Woogi World is right around the corner. This means that there's going to be 100s of more Woogies signing up and playing the game. This is a great thing, but it can be bad in some ways as well. With so many people, it may be hard to get around Woogi World (especially in the main screen) or have a chance to talk to someone.

To avoid this getting too out of hand I ask everyone who reads this blog to do these two simple things that will make the game a lot better, and even more important, a lot safer.

1. Report any rule-breakers. As of now, I'm online most of the peak hours, so I'm able to take care of most of the reports. But the truth is, once all these players are logging on every hour of the day, there's no way I'm going to be there to catch everything. All I can do to stop all these bad Woogies from taking over the game is to tell you about how YOU can stop them when I'm not around. All of you should have a look at the this page and read as much of it as you can. It'll let you know who to report and who not to report.

When I report I make sure to keep everything as neat and as easy to read as possible, so the Big Wig is sure to read it. I also try to include as much information as I can, and sometimes copy and paste chats from Woogi World. this makes sure that Big Wig know EXACTLY what the user did, and can handle the situation better.

2. Talk to people in private chats. I said this in my last post (please read it if you haven't yet.) but I feel the need to say it again. Once all these Woogies are going to be crowding up Woogi World, talking to a friend in the normal chat is going to be near impossible. Remember, if you want to talk to someone on your friends list, it's as easy as clicking on their name. I've had 15 chats open at one time with members of Woogi World asking me questions, and it may seem hard to keep track of, but trust me it's a lot easier than trying to talk to someone with a hundred people in the same chat. Also, if you want to talk to multiple people, invite them to your wigwam!

Remember, things are going to get crazy on Woogi World. New updates, more player, everything is going to get bigger and better. So remember, be like me and try to make Woogi World a better place.

Regarding Spamming...

Over the past couple of hours I have seen a number of users decide to spam the public chat and it's really starting to get out of control. Spaming is technically against the rules, but the majority of Woogi World users either don't know about this rule, or do know and continue to do it otherwise. What they don't realize is that if they continue to do what they're doing, Woogi World will eventually develop a reputation for having a chat that is overflowed with nonsense. For the sake of Woogi World and members that obey the rules on it, I've decided to make this post.

What is SPAM? Before stopping yourself from doing something, you must first know what that something is. It occurred to me that the majority may not know what spam is, or at least not completely. Well, to put it simply, spam stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages and is used on a lot of websites to describe a large amount of different types of messages that may be considered annoying. Here are a few that I've seen in Woogi World.

Repeating Yourself
Although it may not seem like that big of a deal, repeating yourself multiple times makes it hard for other players to talk to each other. I've had to warn several players, and so far they have been nice enough to follow my instructions, otherwise they world have been reported.

"Flaming"
Flaming, in actual terms, means to "start a fire". The same thing goes for flaming over the internet. If you tell someone to "shut up", you will most likely get them mad. After this they might take their anger out on another player, and so on and so forth. I've had to report a player fo this, and I don't want to do it again.

Nonsense/Random
While I'm not denying that being random, especially in Woogi World, can be funny, I am saying that taking to extremes is annoying. I've seen a number of people combine this with repeating themselves, and the result drove every other player away from that screen. I'm not going to be so kind on this from now on.

"ALT" Accounts
An Alt account simply means any account that is not your main one. It is fine to have multiple accounts, but using them to pretend you are someone else, or just to annoy people is not. The Big Wig can see ALL of your accounts and if you get in trouble with one, all of them may be banned.

REMEMBER: Even though Big Wig or another staff member isn't always right there, someone is bound to see you spamming and report you. I have spoken to a staff member about this and they have verified that spamming is against the rules. Also, if you want to talk to someone, PLEASE DO IT PRIVATE CHAT!

Weekly Poll #1

In an effort to make this website more fan oriented, I have decided to put a poll every week. They're just general questions that I feel are important. At the end of every week I'll contact one of the Woogi World staff members that reads this blog and let them know what the results were. This will let Big Wig, and the other workers at Woogi World know what you guys think, and eventually enable them to make changes that positively effect the game.

The poll for this week is about the music in Woogi World. It plays on loop non-stop unless you turn it off, and for people who play hours at a time it can be considered annoying. Hopefully this poll will provide interesting opinions on the catchy tune, and the impact it has on the game. Should it be deleted from the game? Should multiple tracks be added? It's up to you to vote, so don't let Woogi World down!

If you have something to say regarding the subject, but your answer can't be described as a simple "Yes" or "No", then please feel free to comment on this post. After all, this is a place for fan OPINIONS, so I expect to see some. Come on people, do your job!

In other news, I have a number of future articles planned in hopes to get some steady traffic coming to this place, and in turn, Woogi World. I'm not going to say what I have planned yet, but I will say that the team at WoogiFans is doing their best in order to keep you guys updated with the latest Woogi World News, beyond what you might see when playing the game.

All this typing is making my hands hurt.
