Woogi World Wallet, Achievements, and More!

Hey Woogies!

For those of you that missed it, last night marked a huge day for Woogies everywhere! The Woogi World Wallet (something that has been in the works for months now) has officially been launched. Weegor did the complete layout for it in order for everything to be as easy as possible to find, which left a LOT of room for new features to be added in the coming weeks, such as the new "Coupon Book" and "Trading Cards" that should be added some time in the near future. Although no real date has been announced, I assure you that Big Wig has everyone working on it constantly. Woogi World is growing like crazy, and we're insuring that everything is perfect, which also means that it's not rushed!

Those of you who actually explored the new wallet may have found a number of new features, such as the above-mentioned Coupons and Cards. One thing that particularly interested me was the new "Achievements" system that rewards your woogies for doing certain things in Woogi World, such as watching a movie (Dr. W 3 is awesome!) or buying a new hair style from Wanda Wiggs over at the Salon. Those of you that have what the humans call a "XBox 360" will understand this concept, but the rest of you will just have to learn as you go. My inside sources over at the Woogi World HQ even said that there may be a leaderboard soon, so that you can compare your achievements to other woogies.

Which brings me to an interesting question: What are some of your ideas for Achievements? I'm sure Big Wig would love to hear your ideas, and I have a few of my own that I'll post soon.

I'm also working on a redesign of WoogiFans, but I can't say anything yet...maybe in the next post. =)

Special Thanks to Weegor for proof-reading this.

Woogi World Premier: Red Light, Green Light!

Last night at about 10:00, The Big Wig logged on to release the newest game on Woogi World!

Sharks in the Water (a game that was released by Woogi World almost a month ago) was more than just your average game. It marked a very special moment for Woogies, as it was the first game that could be played with others. This brought a new level of gameplay and competition, and from the day of its release was almost unimaginably popular. Even Big Wig himself stated that we were part of the biggest game of Sharks to ever occur (28 players) and you could tell that he was extremely proud. But with the popularity of Sharks in the Water, it was only a matter of time before Big Wig and the team decided to put a new game out there; Red Light, Green Light.

Now, these games take a lot of work to make, but with the help of Weegor, Dr. Wiggenstien, yy, and many others, it can be made possible. However, for those who remember, online games (or MMOEG, as Big Wig calls them) are not always released perfect. Sharks in the Water actually got closed for a full week and a half when it came out, due to issues with timer and some other minor things. Red Light, Green Light has not been confirmed that it will be closing down anytime soon, but I did notice quite a bit of lag when playing. Weegor from Woogi World has commented on this, stating that it will be "fixed soon".

Here's a quick summary of the game, so you'll know what to expect:

Concept: All of the players (up to 50) stand in a large circle, with one player controlling a light at the center. The majority of the game is controlled by this player, so you should keep your eye on him at all times. If the light this player flashes is green, you are free to walk [SPACE BAR] towards the center of the circle. However, if the player switches his light to red, you'll have to stop, or else you'll be sent back.

Room Creation: Room creation is extremely simple. All you have to do is pull up the handy games menu that Dr. Wiggenstien installed for every Woogi. You'll now have a couice of creating a room for either Sharks in the Water or Red Light, Green Light. Note: Only one game of each type can take place on a single WAD, or screen.

Known Bugs: Lag and decoy problems are the only bugs that Big Wig knows about at this time. Please contact me [woogiwalgor@gmail.com] if you notice any other problems, and I will contact the appropriate person.

Woogi Fans is going to be changing it's layout, please let me know what your thoughts are once the new one is up.
