A Nation of Woogies

I apologize if I seemed a little mad in the last post. Spamming is something that is really annoying to me, and I think other users as well. Since I made the post I've already had to report another user. It's a shame, too, because he wasn't someone who I wanted to see banned, just someone who was spamming the chat and found me in an angry mood. I almost feel bad for him now...

Well, today is the start of the second day of our coverage of Woogi World! If you haven't already, please go check out Woogi World and sign up. It's a great site and a great game, and will only get better as the months roll on. We even had the leader of the website, Big Wig, view the blog yesterday and make some comments. He said he liked my post about spamming. I really hope that he addressed spamming in the future, but otherwise he's doing a GREAT job.

As some of you may know, the nationwide launch of Woogi World is right around the corner. This means that there's going to be 100s of more Woogies signing up and playing the game. This is a great thing, but it can be bad in some ways as well. With so many people, it may be hard to get around Woogi World (especially in the main screen) or have a chance to talk to someone.

To avoid this getting too out of hand I ask everyone who reads this blog to do these two simple things that will make the game a lot better, and even more important, a lot safer.

1. Report any rule-breakers. As of now, I'm online most of the peak hours, so I'm able to take care of most of the reports. But the truth is, once all these players are logging on every hour of the day, there's no way I'm going to be there to catch everything. All I can do to stop all these bad Woogies from taking over the game is to tell you about how YOU can stop them when I'm not around. All of you should have a look at the this page and read as much of it as you can. It'll let you know who to report and who not to report.

When I report I make sure to keep everything as neat and as easy to read as possible, so the Big Wig is sure to read it. I also try to include as much information as I can, and sometimes copy and paste chats from Woogi World. this makes sure that Big Wig know EXACTLY what the user did, and can handle the situation better.

2. Talk to people in private chats. I said this in my last post (please read it if you haven't yet.) but I feel the need to say it again. Once all these Woogies are going to be crowding up Woogi World, talking to a friend in the normal chat is going to be near impossible. Remember, if you want to talk to someone on your friends list, it's as easy as clicking on their name. I've had 15 chats open at one time with members of Woogi World asking me questions, and it may seem hard to keep track of, but trust me it's a lot easier than trying to talk to someone with a hundred people in the same chat. Also, if you want to talk to multiple people, invite them to your wigwam!

Remember, things are going to get crazy on Woogi World. New updates, more player, everything is going to get bigger and better. So remember, be like me and try to make Woogi World a better place.

Good work Tydus. Thanks for keeping on top of the rules. Here's a bit of Woogi trivia:

We use the term "W.A.D." to talk about the different points of interest in Woogi World. It stands for "Woogi Adventure Destination."

The normal 9 screen WAD that everyone is pushed to now is just the 1st of many that will come. In fact, that's the purpose of the main world map is to allow Woogies to spread out a bit so there are fewer on a screen and less congestion.

In time, each new school district will have its own WAD. In the really long-term, each WAD will have its own number of screens and building types so it will be like visiting a diff city when you move between WADs.

So, when all that comes to pass, we'll need lots of people like you helping to keep all the Woogies safe and on-track.
